WTF?!?!!? SRB continues the slew of bad decisions.

A bad decision? I don’t get people who oppose Stephanie Rawlings-Blake for the Baltimore Grand Prix. I mean, I know I’m biased as a Maryland race fan, and not totally into politics, but I think the BGP was the 2nd best decision by a Maryland politician that I’ve seen in my lifetime. The first being Governor O’Malley pushing a gay marriage bill here recently.

The race is doing nothing but making the City of Baltimore look good. Drivers, fans, officials from all around the world loved the atmosphere, the city, and the people of Baltimore. Yes it lost money in its first year, but the promoter sucked and it was the first year of the event. Especially with the amount of praise the race got this past year, I’m expecting an even bigger turnout and even more attention this year. As long as the race sticks around, I think the Baltimore Grand Prix will become a Maryland sports staple along with the Orioles and Ravens.
